Show Notes

[00:00:00] Speaker A: Unigaradio perse great Memoria du amilaventichique Il festival organizato de Virginia Monteverde Inquirtistira Tutol Mondo Sirunisco no. [00:00:25] Speaker B: To do some outlook for this exhibition. I was really like what I'm going to do. It's such a feeling that it's nothing to do something. And I really made up my mind. I really want to do something what I'm standing behind really stand behind. And finally it was something that I had because a lot of people don't. [00:00:55] Speaker C: Know any more historians so they just sit there for. [00:00:59] Speaker B: They don't want to know all of the people or Germany. And then I remember that I went as trial as we lived in South Germany and we went from stutter to where flowers and we went through some small villages nearly every weekend. So. And okay, it was my journey. We went through the landscape and later in Berlin Jewish Museum I realized they explained that this relative in this area was a huge Jewish community. And I was really wondering that I didn't know this. Nobody talked to me, nobody told the story. [00:01:56] Speaker C: It was really like nothing. [00:01:59] Speaker B: So it was. That was in the 80s and I. [00:02:02] Speaker C: Realized in the 80s nobody spoke about. [00:02:07] Speaker B: Ashamed or don't talk about it. And therefore because I know this religious. It's not religious like maybe a thousand people and it's about me. It's addicting by seeing not every. [00:02:29] Speaker C: Half. [00:02:29] Speaker B: Of the community has changed. And yeah today there's none. So. And in the vaccine it is. They went to 1938 some escape for. [00:02:48] Speaker C: Free people and went to Palestine. [00:02:50] Speaker B: And these pictures are about several stories. So this is about vaccine and how they escape. This is about which I. And what happened there and what happened in the. [00:03:07] Speaker C: In the 50s after. [00:03:09] Speaker B: After the war and one person went. [00:03:13] Speaker C: Back and how people. [00:03:19] Speaker B: How the communication was what happened when needed. [00:03:22] Speaker C: I started to get back from my home. So there's some stuff and how people. [00:03:27] Speaker B: Make like obes come back. [00:03:29] Speaker C: So you want. [00:03:31] Speaker B: This is one part what people said what he said. [00:03:34] Speaker C: So. [00:03:35] Speaker B: So I read a lot of books about it. [00:03:45] Speaker C: So they have a lot of texts. [00:03:50] Speaker B: About it. And this is about. I don't know the scenarios that in the 40s during the deportation era how they sold all the Jewish things all so far. So why they discovered. So people took it all they. They had no feeling about it. [00:04:18] Speaker C: Oh I take it. [00:04:20] Speaker B: I take it. So this is a piece about that. This is a piece about a writer in the 19th century. That's what Aubrey was really famous at the time. A Jewish writer and he really thought that this could be better at. [00:04:44] Speaker C: The. [00:04:45] Speaker B: Problems are some of the same which. [00:04:47] Speaker C: Really can be the person in this. [00:04:51] Speaker B: End at the end of his life we realized oh no anti Semitism sphere. [00:04:56] Speaker C: And he was really so. [00:05:04] Speaker B: And nowadays he was really being famous at that time so work him and now they nobody works him because nobody meet human notion but this is one part of it so. And the idea was to tell the stories and display it that you can't read. [00:05:43] Speaker C: You can't really put it back so. [00:05:45] Speaker B: You can't read some parts but so the stories disappear. So that was somehow the idea that. [00:05:57] Speaker C: How people change the story to make it better. [00:06:10] Speaker B: So yeah this was the idea of it that things are layer and. [00:06:20] Speaker C: For. [00:06:20] Speaker B: Me it is about against the. [00:06:51] Speaker C: What. [00:06:51] Speaker B: Do you know about vaccine? What do you. And then they said I know vaccine with the Jews and vaccine that's a. They saved them. They said so and that's totally wrong. So that's totally wrong. So I see stories are going to. [00:07:10] Speaker C: Change people even for the. [00:07:13] Speaker B: For that it sounds better or something like that. Yeah I think And I also realized that in religion at school time I. [00:07:27] Speaker C: Learned about this time but at the end. Yes. [00:07:56] Speaker B: Yes. Thank you very much. Thank you.
